Welcome to the Periodontal Associates
website. We are a group of Specialist Periodontists dedicated to providing evidence based Periodontal and Dental Implant treatment. Our focus is to provide advice and treatment that will allow you to maintain functional, healthy and great looking teeth long-term.

Periodontics

Periodontics is the specialty area of dentistry that is concerned with the diagnosis and management of Periodontal Disease (gum disease). Healthy gums are the foundation of a healthy mouth. It is estimated that 30% of the population are susceptible to gum disease that is left undiagnosed and untreated can lead gradually to loss of teeth. A comprehensive periodontal assessment done early in life can identify if you are susceptible to Periodontitis. Like most medical problems, the earlier you are diagnosed, the simpler the management and the better the long term outcome.

Dental Implants

Dental implants are designed to provide a foundation for replacement teeth that look, feel, and function as close as possible to natural teeth. Replacing missing teeth with dental implants can restore the ability to eat virtually anything and smile with confidence. For patients with no teeth or completely hopeless teeth, advances in full arch implant bridges are eliminating the problems associated with loose, uncomfortable dentures that have plagued previous generations and changing the way people live. With them, people are rediscovering the comfort and confidence to eat, speak, laugh and enjoy life. However, dental implants may not be the best treatment option for all patients. We will discuss all the treatment options with you to ensure that you chose the most appropriate option. If you would like more information about dental implants or to make a consultation appointment we look forward to hearing from you.

Cosmetic Periodontal Surgery

Cosmetic dental procedures may involve placement of crowns, bridgework, removable dentures or dental implants as well as grafting and soft tissue procedures. The Periodontists at Periodontal associates will work with your general dentist or other specialists to provide you with the optimal treatment plan that will lead to long term health and optimal aesthetics.
